Designed in a modern style, the locomotive developed by GE Transportation, in partnership with MRCLA, has eight axles and serves the metre-gauge tracks, which represent 80% of the national railway network.
Its traction motor with AC (Alternating Current) technology offers high performance, making better use of the space available in the railway network compared to direct current motors.
Additionally, the investment in the digital locomotive generates more efficiency and agility in cargo transportation, as two eight-axle machines can replace up to five six-axle machines.
It is also possible to receive alerts about transportation problems or unexpected events, as the locomotive is able to use softwares and a remote monitoring system, which provides real-time information.
Hopper

The highlight of the Gondola wagon is its greater transport capacity developed by the company. It was the first one targeted to the Brazilian market with a 7”x12” bogie, using braking rates suitable for the service and adjusted for operational conditions with or without load.

The terminal's daily storage capacity is 100,000 tons for rail transport and 20,000 tons for road transport, and, during harvest, the daily flow is 480 bulk wagons.
